Pre and Post-natal Pilates workouts with Verena Pelletier
Certified through The Physical Mind Institute, Verena’s pre and post-natal Pilates programs encourage healthy and active living in the months during and after your pregnancy.
Pre-natal Pilates workouts are specifically designed for the ways your body shifts during pregnancy. Exercises are focused on building optimal pelvic floor, lower abdominal and postural support, which can allow for a much quicker recovery after childbirth. Building a strong, mindful foundation can also alleviate potential pregnancy related issues such as lower back strain, sciatica and pelvic instability.
Post pregnancy, as you dive into motherhood your body is responding to a lot of new stressors, as well as recovering from childbirth. Your post-natal Pilates class will allow you to take a well needed moment out for yourself! Within a small group setting you will work on rehabilitating and strengthening the pelvic floor and deep core muscles as well as specific relaxation and breathing techniques.
Verena works one on one and in small groups with mothers and moms to be! Her attention to detail and calm teaching approach lead to a relaxed and intimate environment where you will be able to work deeply and feel results.
