Studio Policies:
COVID-19 COMMUNITY UPDATE

In order to keep both our community and our staff as safe as possible moving forward, the following policies/procedures have been implemented at Moving Body Pilates. Please let us know if there is any thing else we can do in order to help you feel comfortable:

-
please wear a mask while inside the studio, and wash your hands or use the provided hand sanitizer both before you enter and as you leave
-
physical distancing is in effect at the studio, and will be maintained by your instructor
-
in order to prevent cross-contamination, clients are asked to make all of their own spring changes on equipment. If you are not able to do this, please let your instructor know and an alternative arrangement will be made
-
if you have therabands and weights, please bring them each time for your own private use
-
to provide us with extra time for cleaning, please arrive within 5 minutes of your appointment time, and exit the studio as soon as possible after your session is over
-
if you need water during session, please bring your own water bottle with you
-
at this time only contactless forms of payment are accepted (e-transfer). If this is not possible for you, please let your instructor know in order to arrange a suitable alternative arrangement
-
equipment will be sanitized after your use by your instructor using a chlorine disinfectant solution
-
semi-private sessions at the studio have been temporarily suspended in order to comply with physical distancing requirements
-
avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, and cough or sneeze into your sleeve or elbow, not your hands
-
if you have flu-like or respiratory symptoms, have been in contact with someone who does or have recently travelled, please stay home and consult with your healthcare provider before returning to the studio. This policy also applies to all staff, and each of us take our temperature daily before coming to work

We so very much value you and the care you are putting into maintaining your health. Together we can keep doing what we love while keeping our more vulnerable people safe.

WHAT TO WEAR

When working out at the studio wear clothing that both allows you to be comfortable and allows us to see your body alignment. We can most assist you when we can clearly see the positions of your arms, legs and torso, so clothing that is not too loose or bulky is most suitable. Footwear is not necessary as most apparatus work is done in bare feet to prevent slipping.

SCENT FREE

Moving Body Pilates respects the needs of those with chemical sensitivities, and you are asked to please refrain from wearing products with any type of scent.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend your session, we appreciate as much notice as possible. While we understand that unexpected circumstances do arise and will make allowances for that, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the FULL fee (Covid-19 exceptions apply).
Refunds for packages will only be offered with a letter from your physician. $25 administration fee applies.

Sessions are transferable to clients experienced in Pilates.
